Technology + Environment = Antarctic syndrome
Scholz&Friends Kyiv and Nokian Tyres Ukraine has implemented the project with the slogan "Leave your ecological footprint on the world road". The project was realized within social activities of Nokian Tyres Ukraine.
It is well known that Antarctica is one of the last of the cleanest continents on our planet. But its ecosystem undergoes serious deformation because of the changes caused by human activities.
The company Nokian Tyres is promoting a respectful attitude to the environment that can be seen in usage of the technology and energy saving products. It organized a photo exhibition dedicated to Antarctica.
The exhibition "The Antarctic syndrome" was held in the Kiev Art Gallery "Lavra", and included 47 works which made during a trip to Antarctica in January 2011.
The special thing of the exhibition was a big interactive screen on which was projected all the photos. Visitors could send favorite photos to their e-mail and marked as “Like” on Facebook. A usage of interactive format was not only good instrument for spreading information about exhibition, but also made the project open to all public audience.
